The Committee of the First Party Branch of our firm convened a meeting, chaired by Comrade Yu Wei, the Branch Secretary. The meeting was attended by Comrade Wu Xiaoya, the Organization Committee Member, and Comrade Zhuang Yuan, the Publicity Committee Member.
In accordance with the deployment for the celebration of the Party's founding anniversary and focusing on the central theme of high-quality development of the firm guided by Party building, the meeting deliberated on key work tasks. Adhering to the requirements of the Party Constitution and regulations, and upholding the principles of prioritizing moral integrity and performance orientation, the committee comprehensively evaluated the members' political literacy, professional performance, pro bono legal services, and participation in branch activities.
Based on this evaluation, the committee formulated recommendations for candidates for the title of "Outstanding Communist Party Member." Furthermore, the meeting discussed the theme, agenda, and preparatory matters for upcoming joint Party building activities. It also conducted an in-depth discussion on the long-term operation with partner organizations, establishing measures such as regular communication, the sharing of Party building resources, the alignment of legal service businesses, and reciprocal learning exchanges. These initiatives aim to address the issue of superficial cooperation and continuously enhance the standard of the branch's Party building work.

The General Party Branch Committee of our firm held its third meeting of 2026. All members of the General Party Branch Committee attended, with the Party Building Advisoring the meeting.
The meeting commenced with a study session on the spirit of the President's Office Meeting of the All China Lawyers Association (ACLA) and received a report on the research regarding the promotion of large-scale law firm development. Subsequently, the committee deliberated upon and approved the commendation of "Outstanding Party Members" for the July 1st observance and the work plan for the upcoming Theme Party Day activities.
The meeting was presided over by Comrade Zhou Lianyong, the Secretary of the General Party Branch Committee.
Special Inspection Visit

To identify the underlying logic for BST Law Firm to achieve steady, long-term development and sustained growth, a large-scale research delegation led by Zhou Lianyong, Director of the Firm’s Management Committee, together with Attorney Bo Tao and other delegation representatives, made a special two-day trip to Guangzhou and Shenzhen for in-depth inspections and exchanges with four prominent large-scale law firms, namely Huashang Law Firm (Head Office), Huashang Hastings (Futian) Joint Venture Law Firm, Jintang Law Firm and Guangxin Junda Law Firm. This inspection centered on two core themes that determine the rise and fall of law firms: the "ballast stone" and the "engine".
During the research, the delegation held candid and in-depth discussions with senior managers of local outstanding law firms on fundamental topics including strategic positioning, institutional risk control, cultural cohesion and talent cultivation, as well as growth drivers such as professional innovation, implementation of AI technologies and market expansion. Through on-site visits and dynamic analysis, the delegation reached a unanimous consensus: only by firmly anchoring the "ballast stone" and fully igniting the "engine" can law firms realize high-quality and sustainable development amid the new development cycle. This visit deepened exchanges and cooperation between BST and leading law firms in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The consensus reached through the research will inject new momentum into the Firm’s efforts to seize AI opportunities and advance the integrated development of specialization and intelligentization.

The inaugural meeting of the Mediation Committee of the National Commercial Fire Protection and Safety Association (NCFCSA) was grandly held in Xiangtan High-tech Development Zone. Zhou Lianyong, Director of BST’s Management Committee, was appointed Deputy Director of the Mediation Committee; Attorney Gao Pengxiang, Director of the Arbitration Practice Department, was appointed Mediator of the Mediation Committee.
Founded on August 17, 1989 with the approval of the former Ministry of Commerce and consent of the Ministry of Public Security, NCFCSA is a national specialized social organization. Rooted in the industrial development demands of national emergency rescue and fire safety sectors, the Mediation Committee serves all types of market entities across the industry. It focuses on mediation of industry-specific disputes, compliance risk assessment, application of industrial norms and regular compliance guidance, and establishes an integrated dispute resolution system featuring "industry self-regulation + professional mediation + litigation-mediation docking", so as to build a national, professional service platform for industrial dispute mediation.

Attorney Bao Zijie, Director of the Culture and Publicity Department of BST Law Firm, delivered special lectures themed Risk Prevention and Response for Grassroots Legal Review at the respective invitations of the Politics and Law Department of Nanjing Jiangbei New Area and Liuhe District Bureau of Justice of Nanjing. Centering on practical essentials of grassroots legal review, the lectures offered systematic elaborations covering key points of contract examination, risk identification, and standardized handling of replies to performance duty applications. Common misconceptions in grassroots legal review were thoroughly analyzed, with highlighted reminders of easily overlooked procedural loopholes and substantive issues in daily work, aiming to enhance participants’ risk prevention awareness and practical operation capabilities.

Zhou Lianyong, Director of the Firm’s Management Committee and Secretary of the General Party Branch, was invited successively by Gaochun District Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau of Nanjing and Nanjing Urban-Rural Construction Commission to conduct professional law enforcement skill training for grassroots law enforcement officers based on the Measures of Nanjing Municipality for Standardizing Administrative Inspections Involving Enterprises. He provided in-depth interpretations of relevant law enforcement norms to facilitate accurate comprehension and application of the Measures and advance strict, standardized, impartial and civilized law enforcement. Previously, the legislative professional team led by Zhou Lianyong completed the legislative service project for drafting the government regulation Measures of Nanjing Municipality for Standardizing Administrative Inspections Involving Enterprises.

BST Law Firm successfully held the 5th Lawyer Debate Competition and the 1st Lawyer Debate Invitational Tournament of the International R&D Headquarters Park. A total of eight teams participated in the competition, including teams from the head office of Jiangsu BST Law Firm, its three branch offices in Zhenjiang, Suzhou and Taizhou, as well as Zhonglun (Nanjing) Law Firm and Jiangsu Ruitu Law Firm.
After two rounds of splendid debates, the Liaoyuan Team from BST Head Office claimed the championship and won the double first prize. Team member Lv Xinghan was awarded the title of “Best Debater”, and Zhang Weijia won the title of “Excellent Debater”. The Chenggong Team from the head office secured the second prize of the firm’s debate competition, with Zhu Yuanyuan named an “Excellent Debater”. The Dream of Team from the head office obtained the third prize, and Gong Yiying won the title of “Excellent Debater”. Shi Xinze from the Zhenjiang Branch was recognized as an “Excellent Debater” in the preliminary round.
Jiangsu Ruitu Law Firm won the second prize of the park invitational tournament, with Bao Cheng awarded “Excellent Debater”. Zhonglun (Nanjing) Law Firm won the third prize of the park invitational tournament.
This event not only provided a platform for young lawyers to showcase their professional competence, but also further strengthened exchanges and mutual learning among law firms. Going forward, BST will continuously innovate talent training mechanisms, empower professional growth through critical thinking and debating practice, and inject new impetus into the high-quality development of legal services.

To adapt to the new landscape of internal work division, deepen inter-departmental coordination and collaboration, and boost the high-quality development of legal services at the Firm, Zhou Lianyong, Director of the Management Committee and Secretary of the General Party Branch of BST Law Firm, presided over a special exchange meeting for functional departments and practice divisions on June 2, 2026.The meeting systematically reviewed the founding purpose, staffing structure and core functions of each department. Aligned with the provincial industry’s development orientation toward specialized legal services extending to high-end value chains, and in light of the regional layout featuring the construction of Jiangsu International Commercial Legal Service Harbour in Jianye District and the empowerment of business environments through foreign-related rule of law, the meeting further clarified the strategic positioning and annual priority tasks of all departments.
Director Zhou Lianyong required all departments to comply with municipal and provincial requirements for high-quality development of the lawyer industry, fully integrate into the construction of a law-based local business environment, and deepen core service tracks including high-end commercial affairs, cross-border legal services and compliance governance. All staff shall adopt a unified whole-of-firm mindset, break down operational silos, facilitate resource sharing, strengthen collaborative support, actively fulfill the Firm’s social responsibilities, and jointly build a matrix of specialized, branded and large-scale legal services to upgrade the capacity and efficiency of regional legal services.

Participants were briefed on the research visits to large-scale law firms and the progress of the 2026 Key Work Project Plan of the Firm, and discussed matters concerning internal operation and management. The 10th Training Camp for Young Lawyer Leadership Talents under the "Spark Fire Starting a Prairie Fire Program" of Jiangsu Lawyers Association officially opened in Lianyungang. Centered on the core theme of "Digital Intelligence Empowerment, Keeping Pace with The Times", the training camp focused on the digital transformation of the lawyer industry in the new era and the cultivation of young leading legal talents, gathering outstanding young legal practitioners from multiple regions to advance high-quality industrial development.
One hundred outstanding young lawyers from Jiangsu, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Anhui, Jiangxi, Sichuan, Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang and other regions were selected to receive five days of systematic closed-door intensive training. The curriculum integrates political education, practical know-how and forward-looking insights, covering core modules such as Party school ideological education, hands-on OpenClaw operation, career growth empowerment for young lawyers, refined firm management and operation in the AI era, practical strategies for legal business growth, and efficient self-media conversion and operation. The program comprehensively strengthened the participants’ professional expertise, innovative thinking and comprehensive competence in legal practice.
Yu Wei, Partner of BST Law Firm, was selected for this training camp after strict screening. He attended all sessions with rigorous dedication, engaged in in-depth research, successfully completed all training courses and graduated with full qualifications. The Intellectual Property Committee of Suzhou Lawyers Association hosted a professional training session on "Practical Issues in the Trial of Trademark Disputes". Attorney Chen Lijie from Jiangsu BST (Suzhou) Law Firm participated in the training. Focusing on judicial logic and right protection in IP cases, the training offered clear guidance for lawyers to build systematic case-handling thinking. Since its establishment, Jiangsu BST (Suzhou) Law Firm has represented numerous well-known enterprises including Jiangsu Yanghe and Anhui Gujing Gong in intellectual property infringement cases and achieved remarkable results. Against the backdrop of growing cross-border commercial disputes, mediation, as an efficient, flexible and non-confrontational dispute resolution mechanism, has gained extensive recognition across the global legal community. To upgrade Nanjing lawyers’ professional competence in cross-border mediation and facilitate effective alignment with mature Hong Kong mediation systems and international rules, Nanjing Lawyers Association selected 15 foreign-related lawyers to attend the Accredited Professional Mediation Training Program hosted by eBRAM International Online Dispute Resolution Centre. Xu Hao, Deputy Director and Senior Partner of BST Law Firm, took part in the program.
The training was held at eBRAM’s headquarters in Hong Kong, with courses officially accredited by the Hong Kong Mediation Accreditation Association Limited (HKMAAL). The curriculum covered Hong Kong mediation laws and international conventions, full procedures and core practical skills of facilitative mediation, offline and online mock mediation exercises, and hands-on operation of the eBRAM platform. After five days of intensive, high-standard systematic training in Hong Kong, Attorney Xu Hao passed all assessments with outstanding performance and was awarded the HKMAAL-accredited Professional Mediation Training Certificate.

Nanjing Lawyers Association successfully wrapped up the first session of the "Elite Training Camp for 100 Industrial Management Talents" at the Party School of Liuhe District, Nanjing. Wang Qing, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of Nanjing Bureau of Justice as well as Party Secretary of Nanjing Lawyers Industry; Liu Wei, President of Nanjing Lawyers Association; Xi Chao, Supervisor General; Wei Chun, Secretary-General; Qian Peng, Vice President; and Liu Jun, Deputy Secretary-General attended the event.
Only 30 places were available citywide for this program. After multi-layered selection including online registration, preliminary qualification review and interviews, Zhou Yu, Managing Partner and Deputy Director of BST Law Firm, stood out with solid and outstanding comprehensive capabilities and represented the Firm’s management team at the training.
This innovative initiative was launched by Nanjing Lawyers Association to implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions on legal work and cultivate reserve managerial talents for the lawyer industry. Distinct from trainings focusing merely on practical legal skills, this elite camp targets the advanced cultivation of industrial management leaders, aiming to foster high-caliber managerial talents with solid foundations, sound professionalism and great potential to serve as the backbone for the development of the Bar Association and the whole industry.
The compact and scientific curriculum covered four core modules: industrial trends, strategic thinking, management practice and achievement transformation. Four days of closed-door theoretical learning and practical exercises comprehensively elevated all participants’ political literacy, industrial mission awareness and leadership & management capabilities. It is expected that these talents will spearhead a new chapter in the high-quality development of Nanjing’s legal profession in the years ahead.
